Solo only. One person, one project. Talk to people, ask for help, share ideas, but the work is yours.

Your project must address a medical process. Broadly defined, but the connection should be clear when you demo.

Work must be new. Start from scratch at kickoff. Open source libraries, boilerplate, and starter templates are fine. An existing project you've already been building is not.

AI coding tools are encouraged. Use whatever you want. That is not cheating here.

Two submissions, both due before demos start at 3:00. A public GitHub repo containing your code. A video demo of three minutes or less showing the agent actually running.

Use fake or synthetic data. Do not use real patient information, real medical records, or any PHI.

Judging: does it run, does it solve a real medical problem, how far you got in six hours, and how well you demo it. A working agent beats a better idea that doesn't run.

Organizers and judges can't compete for prizes.

One addition worth your attention: I added the synthetic data rule. It wasn't in what you gave me, but a medical-themed hackathon in a hospital district will draw people who work in healthcare, and somebody will consider using a real record they have access to. That rule needs to be stated, not assumed.
